The numbers are in!  Here is a brief overview of what went on in the Skagit County Real Estate Market during March 2014:

  • Inventory is DOWN

Here in Skagit County the inventory was at 5.48 months, which is down compared to March of 2013 when we had 6.13 months worth of properties available

  • Days on Market is DOWN

Average days on market is down 9.1% year to year. Days on market (DOM) dropped from 132 (March 2013) to 120 in March 2014.

  • Median sales price on closed homes is UP

The median sales price on closed homes in Skagit County was $233,000 which was a positive increase of 10.95 % from March 2013, when the median sales price was at $210,000. (Residential only).

 

Interest rates are LOW, Demand is HIGH! Don’t wait before it’s too late and you’ve priced yourself out of this market!
